The largest mosque of Central America has been built in Nicaragua.
Sheikh Fahmi told IRIB that the mosque in Nicaragua Capital, Managua was recently completed by the help of some Islamic countries including the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He added that over 300 Muslims live in Nicaragua and some Nicaraguan people have converted into Islam in the Mosque.
A number of Nicaraguan Muslims expressed their satisfaction over converting to Islam and said that they felt deficiencies before but after they got familiar with the Islamic teachings, they converted to Islam. They said they are satisfied with their way of life.
A Nicaraguan woman said that she had studied Quran for a long time and that she had reached confidence after converting to Islam. Her husband too thanked God and said he felt that his life and his family's was protected by Islam.
