Cairo, (SANA) – The Egyptian Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the statements of Turkish Prime Minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who called for interference by the UN Security Council and the Arab League in the internal affairs of Egypt.
The Ministry also denounced the statements of the Qatari Foreign Minister who blamed the Egyptian authorities for "resorting to the security solution".
In a statement, the Foreign Ministry explained that the transitional government of Egypt has been committed since it was formed to achieve reconciliation among the people of the homeland and to work according to the roadmap announced on July 3, 2013 with the participation of all political forces.
It stressed that the Egyptian government spared no effort to disperse protesters at Rabia al-Adawieh and al-Nahda squares peacefully to avoid victims, expressing grave sorrow over them.
