Mexico terms Tehran statement as important, valuable

Mexican Foreign Secretary, Mrs. Patricia Spinoza, in her meeting with Iran's Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki in Mexico City on Monday night termed the Tehran Trilateral Declaration inked by Iran, Brazil and Turkey on nuclear fuel swap as "praiseworthy".

According to IRNA, she stressed diplomatic ways and dialogue within framework of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for peaceful use of nuclear energy.

Mrs. Spinoza explained about her country's economic capacities and stressed Mexico's willingness to boost cooperation and increase the volume of trade exchanges with Iran in different fields.

The two sides also reviewed international and regional developments.

Mottaki referred to the history of Iran-Mexico relations saying the two countries have vast potential for cooperation that should be properly exploited.
