Tehran’s interim Friday Prayers Leader, Ayatollah Mohammad Emami Kashani, has emphasized that Iran’s nuclear negotiating team defended the nuclear rights of the Iranian nation very well, during the negotiations with the 5+1 Group, displaying their logical, insightful and sensible approach to the world.

According to IRIB World Service, addressing a huge crowd of Friday prayers worshippers and the faithful in Tehran, Ayatollah Emami Kashani praised and thanked Iran’s nuclear negotiators for all their efforts, and emphasized that the guidance and support of the Leader of the Islamic revolution, and the Iranian peoples’ support for the nuclear negotiating team was also very significant, and helped Iran emerge victorious from these negotiations.

Tehran’s interim Friday Prayer Leader emphasized that the policy of “resistant economy” had done much to neutralize the effect of sanctions on Iran, and that this policy should continue. Ayatollah Emami Kashani said he was hopeful that the Geneva nuclear agreement would be implemented, after parliamentary approval in Iran, and other countries which are party to the agreement.

Commenting further, Ayatollah Emami Kashani said some Western leaders claim Iran wants to develop nuclear weapons, and Iran supports terrorism, but this is completely untrue, a patent lie.

He added: “In fact, these claims are a continuation of past hostilities against Iran, instead of trying to mend fences, and make up for past policy mistakes, they have chosen to continue with their hostile approach vis-à-vis Iran”.

Tehran’s interim Friday prayers Leader went on to criticize U.S. officials for trying to placate Zionist regime officials about the Vienna nuclear agreement. Ayatollah Emami Kashani pointedly added: “The Zionists will only be satisfied when all nations have perished and they alone remain in this world, and this is why they have no qualms whatsoever, about spilling innocent blood”.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Ayatollah Emami Kashani criticized a number of Arab countries, among them Saudi Arabia, for supporting the Zionist regime. He pointedly added: “This regime (the Zionist regime) is amongst the vilest, inhuman and bloodthirsty regimes in the world, and Muslim nations must unite and expel the Zionists from this region, if they want to live in peace and security”.

Commenting further, Ayatollah Emami Kashani said the Zionists and the deviant terrorist group ISIL, have been spoon-fed and raised by the arrogant powers. He poignantly added: “Terrorism is a tool in the hands of global powers. They cultivate and nourish terrorism, and they export terrorism”.
