Iran's Health Minister, Dr. Kamran Baqeri-Lankarani, advised Iranian citizens on Monday against travel to the US, Canada, and Mexico in view of the H1N1 virus, or the Swine Flu, which has claimed scores of lives in the afflicted countries. According to IRIB, he also reported of setting up quarantine facilities at Iranian airports for diagnosing and treating affected passengers arriving in the country.

The Iranian Health Minister added that there is no scientific evidence that the flu originated from the said animal, thus the World Health Organization has dubbed it as Flue A.

According to coming reports, some 1038 cases of Flu A have so far been confirmed in 15 world countries, mostly in the US, Mexico, and Canada.
