Senior Iranian lawmaker Kazem Jalali says the Americans will never be able to exploit terrorism after Iran goes public with the documents it has gathered on US terrorist activities.
According to Fars News Agency, the spokesman for the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee said the documents Iran has gathered will show that the US is the criminal and offer proof of its guilt.
“These 100 documents about US terrorist activities have been gathered …over the course of a few years,” Jalali was quoted as saying on Friday, adding that the US is the main sponsor of terror in the world.
Earlier on Friday, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili displayed two sets of documents, which he said implicated the American government for having ties with known terror groups and elements.
Jalili added that Iran has solid evidence that American officials sent saboteurs and their elements to carry out acts of terror in Iran and other regional countries.
He said Tehran reserves the right to take legal action against the US in both Iranian and international courts, adding that Iran would submit the documents to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon for circulation among UN member states.
