‘Saudi officials should be cautious in face of US political games’

Iranian lawmaker, Zohreh Elahian, has noted that the US is intent on causing discord in the World of Islam, and the Saudi officials should not be tricked by the Global Arrogance stupid games.

In an interview with Fars news agency on Monday, she referred to the American officials’ ploys to baselessly accuse Iran of efforts to assassinate the Saudi ambassador to Washington, while adding that Islamic Republic of Iran has for several occasions sensed the painful wound of assassinations since the victory of Iran’s Islamic Revolution.

The Iranian legislator pointed out that the interests of Islamic Iran have been tied with the unity and sympathy of the Islamic Ummah, and the assassination of an individual from Muslim neighbors endangers the interests of Iran, as an Islamic country.

The US administration, in its fresh round of disinformation and propaganda campaign against Islamic Republic of Iran, has accused Iran of involvement in planning the assassination of the Saudi ambassador to Washington.

This accusation has been dismissed as baseless by political analysts, even the analysts in the US.
