Due to the result of sincere and great effort, under the complete supervision of I.M.A.M. & I.S.N.A. in drawing a new and distinguished history for Muslims in North America, the Washington Declaration was signed and announced.
This momentous occasion occurred during the thirteenth annual conference of the Shia Muslim Scholars in North America and the fiftieth anniversary convention of the Islamic Society of North America.
